2025 CAWA Community Conference

Chinese American Women in Action (CAWA), in partnership with the Coalition for a Better Chinese American Community (CBCAC), United Chinese Americans–Chicago (UCA-Chicago), and the Midwest Asian Health Association (MAHA), warmly invites you to the 2025 CAWA Community Conference.

Organized in celebration of Constitution Day, this full-day event will bring together students, parents, educators, and community leaders together through keynote addresses, engaging workshops and hands-on cultural activities to explore timely and vital topics including the U.S. Constitution, youth identity, and mental wellness, while celebrating our heritage and strengthening our collective voices.

Keynote speakers include:

• Mr. John Trasviña, former Dean of the University of San Francisco School of Law who will speak on Wong Kim Ark and Birthright Citizenship.
• Ms. Lily Chen, UCA WAVES Founding Executive Director who will address Breaking Cultural Barriers to Mental Health
