MISSION
The mission of CAWA Youth is to empower Asian American high school students in Naperville and surrounding areas to develop leadership skills, strengthen their voices, equip them to be resilient and confident in their Asian American identity and achieve a sense of belonging. Through empowering students, we empower the community. Our program follows a strategy of adult and peer mentoring, educating, advocating and collaborating to maximize effectiveness

Joyce is a founding member of CAWA Youth in 2022. She is pursuing a double major in Business and Health Sciences. Her main passions in life are thrifting, reading, and weightlifting!

Audrey is co-president of her school’s Asian Student Association. She is interested in business and she loves music.

Isabel is involved in other Asian American student associations at school. She loves to make jewelry in her free time.
Cherise Lee
Naperville North High School, Junior
Cherise is an outgoing individual who loves being on the badminton court, listening to music,
reading, or completing puzzles. She particularly enjoys drinking bubble tea and spending time in
the sun.
